laughing eyes
those shy moments of touch
those fit as a fiddle and

when time went by without
shutting your eyes for
fear of losing one single
sudden sight

those starry nights and
distant lights
those memories we hold so dear
those wiggle dee waggle dee
fly to the moon with me

heavenly
it's long past midnight
i lie awake for fear of dreams
at some point my dreams become
reality
and my night sky molten grey
i awake to my dream and
live my life one night at a time

in the desolate dark hours of the
pressing hot night
when sound and smell bring
shimmers of a long forgotten light
i watch as the moon and some
sudden stars paint my
black night hollow and
i cry strange tears for those
long forgotten years.

we fall

in the halflight of remembrance
our dreams our wishes ourselves

surprise
